Neighborhood information is provided through regular monthly email newsletters and quarterly printed newsletters that are sent to dues paying members homes. In addition, some information is available on the Historic Ridgewood website and the members-only portal. An archive of the printed newsletters can be found on the members only portal.
Ridgewood listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
In the 1990s, Historic Ridgewood designed a bronze plaque designating the neighborhood’s historical status. These plaques are still available for any Ridgewood resident who would like one for their home.

We maintain an active neighborhood association. Annual dues are $85, collected in January. For new neighbors, we collect pro-rated dues once you move into the neighborhood.

The bulk of your yearly dues go towards paying off-duty Canton city police officers to patrol the neighborhood.
The association hosts a number of events throughout the year including several Wine with Your Neighbors happy hours throughout the year at various homes in the community. In addition, we host a Halloween Family Party after our neighborhood nighttime trick or treat for all dues-paying members. We also host a Christmas-time sleigh ride through the community and yearly block parties.
